You belong here.

At Ariel, we believe every person deserves to live their best life. Our Adult Services programs are here to help you do just that. You’ll find people who care about you, understand you, and want to see you succeed.

You’re in charge of your goals.

Your choices matter here.

Living your way

In our residential services, you live the way you want to live. Whether that’s in your own apartment or sharing a house with friends, you get to choose what works best for you. You’ll learn things like cooking your favorite meals, doing your own laundry, using public transportation, and managing your money. You get help when you need it, all while living in a place that feels like home.

You decide what kind of home feels right for you.

Working and finding your purpose

Everyone has something special to offer. Through our vocational and day programs, we’ll help you find work you enjoy and learn new job skills.

Maybe you’ll start by volunteering in your community and trying new things. Or maybe you’ll jump right into working—joining a crew at a local store or baking at Charley’s Cookies. You might discover a new passion, like 3D printing or other classes we offer after hours. When you want to try something new or work toward a goal that matters to you, we’re right there with you.

You decide what interests you most.

Having fun and moving your body

Life isn’t just about work. At Ariel, you’ll have real chances to move your body, be part of a team, and do things that are just plain fun.

That might mean competing in Special Olympics—swimming, track, basketball, and more. Dancing. Hiking. Working with a team toward a shared goal. If you need equipment or support to join in, we’ll find it, so nothing gets in the way. The activities you do here are the ones you actually want to do. We build our programs around what you are interested in, not the other way around.

You decide what feels good to you.

Getting help to be your best self

Sometimes we all need extra help to feel better or learn new ways to handle tough situations. Our behavioral and therapy services include counselors and therapists who can help you talk through feelings or practice new ways to ask for what you need. Maybe you want to feel more confident talking to new people or learn better ways to handle stress. Best of all, there’s no set end date—we stay with you as long as you need.

You decide what you want to work on.

The best part: your people

Making Friends

One of the most important things about being part of Ariel is the friendships you’ll make. You’ll meet other people who understand what your life is like and share your interests and dreams. They become real friends, the kind who are there when you need them. Many people say the friends they make here become like family. You’ll have people to hang out with, laugh with, and share good times with.

Being Part of a community

At Ariel, you’re part of a community that gets you. We see you, we celebrate you, and we include you in everything. You have a voice that matters, and you belong here just as you are.

The people you’ll work with

The people who work at Ariel aren’t just doing a job—they really care about you. They’re kind, patient, and easy to talk to. They’re also a lot of fun to be around!

They show up

When you need help, our staff help you solve problems and celebrate your wins with you. They’re there during tough times, too.

They know you

Our staff understand that everyone is different. They take time to learn how to support you. They respect your choices and help you reach your goals. Most importantly, they see your strengths and believe in you.

What to expect when you visit

Thinking about stopping by? Here’s what will happen:

Your first visit is easy and relaxed. We’ll show you around and introduce you to some people. You can ask any questions you want. You can see where people work, learn, and spend time together.

There’s no pressure. You can take your time deciding if Ariel is right for you. You might want to visit more than once. That’s totally okay.

You can bring someone with you if that makes you feel more comfortable.
